BEIRUT (Reuters) - Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah accepted on Monday the result of a parliamentary election in Lebanon in which his U.S.-backed opponents secured a majority over the Iranian-backed group and its allies.
"We accept these results...with sportsmanship and in a democratic way and we accept that the ruling camp has won the parliamentary majority," Nasrallah said in a televised address, a day after the surprise victory by the anti-Syrian coalition.
The United States, which backs that "March 14" alliance, renewed its support to the group, which also enjoys the backing of regional heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Egypt. President Barack Obama said Washington would "continue to support a sovereign and independent Lebanon, committed to peace."

There's a controversial headline eh? Not to be confused I wholly agree will Bill O'Reilly's stance on, Jeffrey Immelt's position on GE's dealings with Terrorist states like Iran.
Although it needs to be noted, reported by the Washington Post, GE is winding down all their remaining contracts with Iran which was humanitarian aid to hospitals. If that were true my opinion may be changed.
You may have heard? The latest revive your recessionary woes with the opportunity to purchase your first home with no money down is here!
That's right, the "genius's" we've entrusted our financial stability too have thought up a new way to get the economy running. According to Donovan, the FHA's approved lenders will be permitted to "monetize" the tax credit through short-term bridge loans. This will allow eligible homebuyers to access the funds immediately at the closing table.
Secretary Donovan said that important changes, which the National Association of Realtors(R) has been calling for, will help consumers purchase a home. "We all want to enable FHA consumers to access the home buyer tax credit funds when they close on their home loans so that the cash can be used as a down payment," Donovan said.
The real value of creating a business plan is not in having the finished product in hand; rather, the value lies in the process of researching and thinking about your business in a systematic way. The act of planning helps you to think things through thoroughly, study and research if you are not sure of the facts, and look at your ideas critically. It takes time now, but avoids costly, perhaps disastrous, mistakes later.
I couldn't agree more with your email, ground up rather than top down, that is how our republic was founded, and should stay. To many have gotten used to the top down of everyday corporate America, now when Government moves towards this approach we're already accustomed to this mentality through our daily life and tend to forget our own freedom and rights.
Here is a portion of that email from Eric:
Fellow Tea Partiers,
If you’re concerned about the direction of the Tea Party effort, it is VERY important that you take a few moments to read and digest this entire email.
I’m writing you because I find the Tea Party effort in a very disconcerting position at the moment. I’ve been on vacation for the past few days, so I’m a little behind on all the news, but from what I’m reading it sounds like there has been a lot of things said internally, within the effort, that probably should not have been said.
Alright today I was checking my google analytics account to see what kind of traffic bullspit was generating, sorry to say, not that much... but that's to be expected, one of a million opinionated blogs and as I'm currently the only contributor the content is slanted in my favor.
Shameless plug - please feel free to sign up and post :-)
With that being said something I had to share with you, several weeks ago I was extremely impressed with Adam Lambert of American Idol, his version of Michael Jacksons Black or White and others blew me away so I posted those videos here.
Well needless to say music generates traffic from the search engines and my posting these videos did just that. What people were exactly searching for is what caught my eye, see for yourself:
A videotape showing a member of the United Arab Emirates Royal Family torturing a man is threatening a multibillion-dollar nuclear power deal between the U.S. and the Gulf kingdom.
The 45-minute tape shows a man that the Government of Abu Dhabi has acknowledged is Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al-Nahyan - one of 22 royal brothers of the UAE President and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince - mercilessly and repeatedly beating a man with a cattle prod and a nailed board, burning his genitals and driving his Mercedes over him several times. He is assisted by a uniformed policeman.
There's something the U.S. government doesn't want you to know. And it's come out again in the new Heritage Foundation report on education. It conveys that the general public is increasingly dissatisfied with public schools, with a rising number opting for private education.
The report explains that during the 2007 and 2008 legislative sessions, 44 states introduced school-choice legislation. And in 2008, choices for private school were enacted into law or expanded in Arizona, Utah, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Pennsylvania. Today 14 states and the District of Columbia offer voucher or education tax-credit programs that aid parents with sending their children to private schools. But that may be short-lived.
Despite the growing public preference for private education, Congress recently canceled the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, which was created in 2004 to offer students from low-income families in the nation's capital an opportunity to join the voucher educational community. The law provided $14 million in scholarships to help pay for tuition at private schools of their choosing. But no longer.
